FOR CONCIERGE & REFERRING PHYSICIANS
Help your patient explore another source of insight.
When a patient is looking for additional information about potential treatment options, you can help them understand whether the PARIS® Test may be worth discussing with their oncology team—and help connect them with the resources they need to take the next step.
THE PARIS TEST
What is functional testing
Precision oncology often uses genomic testing to identify molecular alterations that may help inform treatment decisions. Functional testing provides another source of information by directly observing how living tumor cells respond when exposed to potential therapies.
PARIS® combines these complementary approaches to provide personalized information about an individual patient's cancer.
GENOMIC TESTING
What alterations are present?
Molecular profiling identifies alterations in the tumor that may provide information about potential treatment options.
FUNCTIONAL TESTING
How do living cancer cells respond?
Functional testing exposes live tumor cells to potential therapies and directly measures their response.
WHEN TO CONSIDER A REFERRAL
Could functional testing be relevant for your patient?
PARIS® may be worth discussing with the treating oncology team when a patient is seeking additional personalized information about potential treatment options, including situations involving recurrent or progressive cancer, rare cancers or limited standard treatment options.

YOUR ROLE
Help connect your patient to care.
You don't need to manage PARIS® testing yourself. You can play an important role in helping your patient understand the option and connect with the appropriate clinical resources.
01
Identify
Recognize patients who may benefit from discussing additional personalized testing with their oncology team.
02
Educate
Help your patient understand what PARIS® is, what information it may provide and why they may want to discuss it with their oncologist.
03
Connect
Encourage your patient to involve their treating oncology team and connect them with Cure First for additional information.
04
Refer
When appropriate, refer your patient to Cure First so the team can help coordinate the next steps.
REFERRAL PATHWAY
A simple next step.
Helping a patient explore PARIS® starts with a conversation. Cure First can help guide the process from there.
1
Talk with Patient
Discuss why additional personalized information may be worth exploring and introduce PARIS® as an option to discuss with their oncology team.
2
Connect Oncology Team
Encourage the patient to involve their treating oncologist in evaluating whether PARIS® may be appropriate.
3
Contact Cure First
Connect with the Cure First team for information about eligibility, sample requirements and testing.
